  About Counselling / Psychotherapy.

“Counselling is for anyone who wants help at any time, who is unhappy with his or her present circumstances and hopes

for change, or who wishes to make progress in personal development. Counselling is valuable as an aid to personal

growth, can help to develop assertiveness and self-confidence, and improve your sense of well being. It is of particular

relevance in times of crisis or transition, and can also be a help in problem-solving.”

(From the “Guide to Counselling and Therapy”, by the

Irish Association for Counselling and Therapy, Wolfhound, 1991).

At Liberty Counselling & Psychotherapy Service, we believe that there are times, such as crisis,

periods of transition, and our own unique experiences ( past or present ), when we may

find it difficult to cope. Sometimes struggling internally, with conflicting thoughts and

feelings, one may have, a sense of stuckness.

Our commitment in this work is to facilitate

and support our clients towards self-empowerment and/or healing.

We value each person as a unique individual and

believe that counselling can be an enriching, rewarding and

liberating experience.

Individual therapy is usually scheduled once a week on a specific day and time reserved for you.

Each session lasts 60 minutes.

Liberty Counselling & Psychotherapy Service also offers a limited low-cost counselling facility,
